FrederickLocal wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Use clear headings and page structure so screen readers can move through each page.
- Describe meaningful images with text.
- Make every link, button and form work with a keyboard.
- Check that text has enough contrast to read.
- Test pages with automated accessibility checks and by hand before we publish changes.
Known limits
Some content from other companies, such as embedded maps, booking calendars, chat tools or reviews, may not fully meet these standards. We are working to improve what we can control.
